Program Goals

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of healthcare and laboratory professionals involved in the research, diagnosis and treatment of Multiple Myeloma.

Target Audience

Hematology oncologists, hematopathologists, clinical laboratory and other healthcare professionals interested in the management of multiple myeloma patients.

Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant should be able to:

1. Review recent clinical data regarding the importance of genetic information and chromosomal anomalies in risk stratification of Multiple Myeloma patients.
2. Summarize new and emerging treatment options for Multiple Myeloma.
3. Discuss how risk stratification can be applied to treatment decisions for current and emerging Multiple Myeloma therapies.
4. Understand how genetics will be taken into consideration for the design of future clinical trials and therapeutics in myeloma.
